Task Setup
The customer defines a tanker task, including loading and unloading points.
Virtual Geofencing
The system creates geofences around loading and unloading stations using GPS.
Authorized Actions at the Station
Any valve opening within the destination station boundaries is considered a normal operation and does not trigger an alert.
Alert for Unauthorized Opening Outside the Station
Once the tanker leaves the destination station boundaries, any valve opening outside the approved area is classified as an exception event and triggers a real-time alert with full details.
Dual Verification Using RFID
Jupiter is a dual-control system based on RFID technology, enabling instant verification of tanker entry at the destination point — without human intervention or physical approval. Each unloading station is equipped with an RFID reader that identifies the tanker and confirms that the unloading operation is authorized. Any valve opening without valid verification is classified as an exception event and immediately triggers an alert to the manager or dispatcher.

FAQ
Can valves be physically locked outside the virtual fence?
Yes. In the Jupiter E-Lock premium version, you can configure physical locking of valves outside approved boundaries, in addition to alerts.
What does “documentation” mean?
Every event is recorded in the cloud with time, location, task, and compartment/route details. You can view real-time status, generate reports, and maintain full control over tanker operations.
How does the solution help prevent “cocktails”?
The Matrix Monitor indication system helps prevent fuel mixing. for example, if a tanker is scheduled to unload diesel at Station A from compartments 1–2 only, then upon entering Station A, only the indicators for those compartments turn green, while all others remain red. This reduces the risk of human error and incorrect unloading.
Why is RFID needed in addition to the virtual fence?
RFID provides dual verification and ensures monitoring even in cases of GPS issues — such as security events, weather conditions, or technical malfunctions.
